- Description
Make Chlorine dioxide solution at a strength of 24,000 PPM with this kit. Includes 4 ounces of Part A (28% Sodium Chlorite) and Part B (4% HCL) Supplied in PET Plastic bottles with Glass droppers. 4% hydrochloric acid has become the standard for activating sodium chlorite.
The dropper bulbs for our HCL bottles are made of Flouroglazed Thermoplastic Elastomer and are acid proof. These are custom ordered and somewhat expensive but worth it. Any other bulb material, such as rubber or silicone, will degrade quite rapidly when exposed the 4% hydrochloric acid.
Many have asked how to dilute this product to the recommended standardization of 3000 ppm. We need to understand that one milliliter is equal to 20 dropper drops. The quick conversion is 10 drops of Sodium Chlorite and 10 drops of Hydrochloric acid activated together equals 1 ml of activated solution. If you add 7ml of distilled water you will have a 3000ppm solution of CDS. The same applies to ounces. One half ounce of each solution activated together add 7oz of distilled water and you will have 8oz of 3000ppm solution.
We will be including a 5ml syringe with all of our sales.
